Default Official Site Policies

Policies regarding posting, user profiles, and general forum behavior are outlined below.
Please read these policies before posting.
Be sure to check them often, as they are subject to change without notice.

We hope you enjoy the site and come back often to find help and make friends.

Please keep the following little rules and policies in mind:

1. User Profiles

1.1 User Names: Should be in good taste. Nothing pornographic, racist, offensive, or otherwise.
1.2 Avatars: Avatars must be in good taste. Nothing pornographic, no nudity, nothing racist, or otherwise inappropriate may be used. The basic rule to follow is if you wouldn't want your kids to see it, don't use it as your avatar.
1.3 Signatures: Signatures may contain no form of solicitation, email, or other content in violation of other rules. The maximum font size for all signatures is 3. Video signatures and signatures hosted on other sites are not allowed.

2. General Posting Policies

2.1 No "Flaming": Please do not post any messages that harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member or guest. There will be no bashing products or brand names for the purpose of marketing a particular brand name.
2.2 No "Trolling": Please do not post any topic that disrupts the peace and harmony of this board. Don't create meaningless threads with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. This includes messages in profiles and signatures.
2.3 No Thread Hijacking: The practice of inserting a post into a thread which has nothing to do with the thread.
2.4 No Double Posting: The practice of posting the same post in two or more forums with the hope that more readers will see your question and help you.
2.4 DONíT USE ALL CAPS: This is shouting. Please do not shout at us. We can hear you just fine.
2.5 No "Offensive" Posts, Links or Images: Please do not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory, or otherwise violate of any local or international laws. This includes links in your signature, profile, bookmarks as well as posted images, photos and avatars. Staff will ultimately decide if something is appropriate or not.
2.6 Copyrighted Material: Please do not upload, attach or post anything that is copyright or licensed without prior consent of the owner.

3. Links and Self Promotion

3.1 No links, No advertising.
3.2 Please do not post any messages anywhere on this site that are for the promotion or advertising of any website, forums, email address, business, MLM, activity, or other entities that you have an affiliation with (i.e. no self-promotion).
3.3 Links to other related sites are NOT allowed.
3.4 Posting EBay item numbers is considered the same as posting a link.
3.5 This policy relates to links within posts, attachment and signature files.
3.6 Certain site links allowed: Links within the site are always allowed. Manufacturer links are fine.

4. Forum-Specific Policies

4.1 Each forum has its own guidelines as to what material is appropriate. Please read forum guidelines before posting.
4.2 Be sure to post in the correct forum. Proper Forum: All posts must be in the proper forum. That is why there are many different forums on this site.

5. Private Messages and Email

5.1 Use of Private Messages: Private Messages (PM's) are intended for private communication between members about topics that are not generally appropriate to discuss in the open forums.
5.2 No "Spamming Do not mass - PM or mass-email multiple members of this site the same message. If anyone is to spam you please report them to a moderator.
5.3 A Note on Privacy - your email will not be sold to any third party for the purposes of marketing or other Solicitation.

6. Chat

6.1 The Site Rules apply to Chat
6.2 Please keep the Language respectable and treat your fellow members with respect.

7. Mod/Admin Discretion

7.1 The administrator and moderators may, at their sole discretion, move, edit, or delete any post considered to be inappropriate for either the site or a particular forum. Most moderation activity involves judgment on the part of the moderator. If you feel a post has been wrongly deleted, moved, or edited, send a PM to a staff member and do not post your grievance in the forums.
